ok, so my stock head lights did **** at night and the adjustment screws were frozen so there was no aiming them. ive seen a few people doing a round head light conversion which i thought was really cool, however i wanted the look of projectors and this is the idea i came up with.

i built some new buckets to mount the lights, wired them to my nightmare of an electrical situation and they are much brighter than the stock lights. HIDs soon, easy and cheap since they are H3 bulbs. still needs some touch up, im currently building a bumper/fenders which will streamline the design a bit more.
i think the "bug eye" look is quite unique for an XJ and im pretty satisfied with how it turned out

super curious as to the progress of this project... i'm spending a few hours (days) planning my next big HID retrofit conversion project...

 

I completely forgot to post the finished product. This is essentially how they will stay, the only thing i plan on doing is hid for at least one pair. They are not super bright, but better than what i had before and it is definitely unique. Im happy with how it turned out
