Price question...
I was wondering about how much would it cost for a shop to swap and engine into my jeep?
Details- I have a '90 Laredo XJ. I have a '99+ intake and exhaust manifold and throttle body, the gasket for that, the '93 motor I want to have put in, oil filter, spark plugs, motor mounts and all the fluids needed...so would it be cheaper since I have alot of the stuff already??
The reason I'm deciding for a shop to do it is because I leave for school next Tuesday and my parents want it outta the garage. I also don't have the sufficient knowledge, time or help needed since I work 10 hr days...
PS- I live in MD so if anyone is from around and knows a shop with a price please PM me the info, otherwise Im just looking for a ball-park answer.

Its kinda a trick situation. Some shops will not touch it cause you are providing the stuff... SOme shops wont give a warranty but on their work.. which means no warranty since you provided everything.
As for price.. labor should be around 10 hrs... so some where between 750 to 1250 depending on the shop rate.
