SO what I'm saying is that I was wondering if you were more likely to get the driveline vibrations with the suspension lift vs. new leaf springs/shackles
If you do a 4.5" lift you will need new front and rear shocks. Leaf springs and shackles are a suspension lift.

Not sure what you mean by suspension lift vs new leaf springs/shackles?

also the yoke slips out, hence the slip yoke eliminator... it pulls out of the pb blaster, it makes it so you cant lose ur yoke on the trail...

I did the rc 4.5 lift on my 2000 xj with np242. I had vibes with the tcase drop. I ended up taking out the drop, ordering a new driveshaft to slip over the existing output shaft on the tcase, and used 6 degree shims to get it perfectly aligned. No more vibes

The reason for a SYE is NOT because it can slip out. It is to make the the drive-shaft longer and enable the use of a Double Cardan joint. There has to be a slip joint in either the shaft somewhere whether it is at the transfer case or in the middle of the shaft.

Only if your shaft is to short. A shaft run with a SYE CAN also slip apart on the trail.

Read this....it will have you a good idea WHY and HOW.

I just did the same lift kit and tire combo.

I would re-consider RC rear leaf springs, they are too short and stiff as hell.
I also installed 6* shims and SYE....no vibration so far.
