powertrax noslip problem
i have installed a powertrax no-slip locker in a chrysler 8.25 rear axle, and the go-no go gauge is about .001" wide at the bottom of unit. turn unit 180 degrees, same thing. good at top. apparently, richmond gear does not have a tech department, even though instructions say to call. it's as if the axle shafts are sagging down toward the center. can this be a carrier problem, or bearing problem? what are the consequences of running as is? thank you, seldom seen bbekron@aol.com

If driver gap is incorrect, Stop and call Powertrax Technical support at (864) 843-9231. There may be a problem with your differential case.
Taken straight from the install instructions that came with mine, sounds like you might have a tweaked carrier or bent housing. I know, not very helpful, but just pointing it out maybe giving you some direction on where to find the problem.

Powertrax 2310
I just bought a used PowerTrax Lockright - 2310 without any instructions or the Go-No-Go gauge, and I cant find any online any where.
I kind of have an idea of how it goes together but there are 4 pieces that don't have a place for them.
Does anyone have a copy of instructions specific for this model?
Thanks,

It says nothing on measuring gaps for the No Slip. I've installed Lockrights and Aussi Lockers that require measurements. No problems with the Aussi's, but I've had a few Lockrights with problems no matter where they were set to.
I personally run a Powertrax No Slip in my front D30. It's on its second housing and 9 years of use with no problems. It is a first production unit from before Lockright/Richmond purchaced it.
