what size tires? 33s? on a 27 spline 8.25? and a d30? good luck. If you dont wheel much just do the no slip. dont go 33s and wheel alot on a lockd 27 spline 8.25. I got a 29spline and am doing a 33/noslip combo. with no front locker. think about it the fronts stay in contact better with the ground no need if you dont wheel heavy or rock crawl hard.

front locker get you up the hill.... rears get you over it...

I have an auto locker in the front in snow and love it. Plenty of other good drivers do too.

x2, All my driver-trail rigs have had lockers front and rear. No problem once you learn how to drive.

So what you saying is your scared? I run 36's on a D30 with ZERO problems. Actually look around almost everyone is running a stock 30 up front. If your scared truss it and run some good joints and your good to go. People are paranoid because they heard that they will explode if you look at them wrong.

D30=good axle D35 on the other hand......Im thinkin people confuse the strength of the 30 with the 35 since there #s are so close.
