I have a powertrax no slip in my front and its rather quite. IMPO if a lunch box locker is to noisy for you you should own a jeep they are not quiet vehicles. Not trying to be an a$$ but my ol' heep has so many noises (a/c pulley makes a gritty sound from having mud caked in it, belt squeaks, wind noise in the cab from roll over, ect....) I would be worried if it was quiet. Just turn up the radio to some good music and tune it out if you have to but I kinda enjoy all the weird noises it lets me know my jeep is doing alright lol

No slip is the more road friendly locker it doesnt ratchet as much and is quieter. They all perform the same off road tho.

That is why it was replaced is my guess...And somebody chucked it out on the internet as "used as is" to recover some of the cost of the replacement. To be sure, contact power trax at https://www.powertrax.com/contact-po...action-system/
