My 99 had a very whiney pump when I bought it. It looked original so I changed it with a reman unit, new pump and reservoir. I took my time bleeding it, on and off turning lock to lock and can’t see any bubbles or air in the fluid itself, could I have just gotten a bad pump? I have a lot of experience tooling on vehicles but this has me stumped haha. Pumps under warranty and not that bad to change( I bought the pulley tool) should I just try another? I’ve also read about the Lucas p/s stop leak. Has that worked for anyone? I also have a p/s flush machine and flushed all the fluid. Gonna be changing the steering box in 2 weeks so might just wait till then to try another pump but I figured in the meantime why not try the Lucas? Any input appreciated and thanks for reading!
