I called the manufacture of my rear swing out tire carrier bumper "Roxolid Trail Armor" to thank Patrick the owner for sending me a new latch pin my son had broken "N/C".

While we were talking I asked him if he had ever considered making rocker skids? He told that he had but bumpers kept him busy still at this time. Then he asked why I wanted to know about them and I told him I had been looking into buying some.

After a minute he asked me again the state where I lived and I told him. He told me he had a custom made set of sliders on the rack that he had made for a friend 2 yrs. ago that sold his XJ before he picked them up.

They were powder coated with all hardware inside the sealed up box ready to ship, but the box was really dirty from sitting in the shop for that long. The Skids were made from 3/16" rectangular tubing and stainless hardware. I was afraid to ask how much for a custom made set but then he said he thought the shipping would be in the $40-50 range UPS and if I wanted them $150 shipped.

Well needless to say while still on the phone I Pay Pal'ed him the money, all he had to say was glad to have them out of the shop.

I looked at a lot of bumpers before buying mine and his is the one I bought, reason strength and swing out design of bearings for one. And for $600 shipped no doubt a best buy and great customer service.
