Default pivot strength

I am getting started on a tire swing rear bumper and I see a lot of people using spindles as the pivot point. Will the spindle hold up to a 31 with daily driving and weekend wheeling? Any one know of any other good options for mounting the swing on top of the bumper? I want to keep the face of the bumper open for a receiver tube and recovery points.

You could pull a rear spindle from a 2nd generation Chrysler mini van. Plenty available at junk yard and versatile for the mounting. Strong enough too.
