95% of the quality of a paint job is in the prep work....Before you lay down any PAINT!

If your GF accidentally rubs her leg or other body part up against that bedliner she won't be talking (or doing anything else for that matter) to you anymore.

If you don't want the paint scratched, just leave it in the garage.

Oh yea, I texture bedlined the tube steps on rock sliders and the Wifes legs slid across them when exiting vehicle, she was not happy.

Rocker guard is also called stone guard,You ever seen the bottom of a cars rockers that looked kinda bumpy.Thats what it really is,Its a step above paint but not as hard or rough as bedliner can be.

Anything made by 3M is good stuff.

Not sure if you are searching rattle can only... I prefer the Qt. can and an El cheapo applicator gun. It's EZ to do and you get more coverage for the $ than rattle cans.

Rocker shutz can also be painted over.

Default Por 15

Por 15 is some of the strongest stuff i ever used. Wont chip or flake off and dries to a rock solid form.

I painted my tie rods and drag link with Metal Mask by POR 15. It's extremely durable if you don't mind the silver color, I may do my sway bar before the winter. As mentioned by almost everyone, prep is the key.
