So I just scored a really clean overhead console out of a 2000. The guy I got it from had swapped it into his jeep a while ago but never had the bracket for the back of it. Now I've been looking all over for the bracket and it seems that this part is discontinued by Chrysler so I can't buy a new one. Does anyone know if the bracket out of a different year would work? Or even out of a zj or caravan?

Did you check ebay they are always there. Brackets from the different year will be fine.

Are you able to go to junkyard and buy one? They usually have couple of Cherokees in there.

I should be able to get to a junkyard tomorrow now that finals are over. I will look for a Cherokee bracket but the Cherokees in the yards here are usually few and far between or just really picked over. I'll see what I can come up with

Dodge caravan bracket will work too.
