Ordering Tom Woods Front Driveshaft
The front drive shaft (double cardan actually) on my 96 xj with 3.5" RE lift (may sneak it up to as much as 5" over time) went out on my XJ and I figure I might as well buy a tom woods variety since there are none I can scalp from the JY and I actually have a bit of cash to put into upgrades (plus there is nothing wrong with a spare front shaft). Tom woods ( http://www.4xshaft.com/ ) is a great way to go but clearly scouring 5 pages of measurements is a bit of work and I'm not too excited about crawling under my XJ in -9 degree temps this weekend. ( http://www.4xshaft.com/MeasuringGuide.pdf ). Can anyone help me along the process. I plan to email tom woods directly but wanted to get advice from the forum first.
Thanks,
