Opinions on this intake
So I've been considering a cold air intake, but I found this spectre intake that pulls are from the cowl so its supposed to be even colder so I thought it sounded pretty cool but wanted to see if anybody has used this or heard anything about or just what you think. All advice is very much appreciated! Thanks!

I was redirected to check out the cowl intake used by some on here for less money unfortunately I don't have the link to that but the thread title is "my version of a cowl snorkel" search that you should find it. Biggest issue I've heard with the spectre one is its a bit loud in the cabin area because of how the filter is set in line.

Thanks partsguy for reposting the link, ok cool I'll have to check that out.
And is it like obnoxiously loud or is it like any other COI where you can hear it sucking in the air but just closer?

I used piping from a spare honda intake and hose clamped it to my stock intake tube removed stock box and used a spectra filter behind the headlight, nice wistle to it. mabe like 5hp gain. was simple and cheap and looks better.
