I know a friend who runs these, not the biggest fan. and you could get some really nice tube sliders for cheaper. just my thoughts though.

Says rocks hurt the body like there not even there. They just bend up after a hard hit and transfer that into the body/doors. doesnt have that buffer zone like tube ones you know?

with my frame stiffeners the fit was off. ended up welding to body. havent been on to many rocks yet but was pivoting around trees with them. for me with welding there basicly rocker replacements. if i could do it again id just replace rockers with 2x6. But they look good and between the stiffeners and these welded on i could tell a difference in the pops and cracks of the body. all and all i like the look and if weed done a better job on the stiffeners they would have fit better. the look is sweet. and the design is like most the wrangler stuff.

If they're tight to the body like that, all they're really protecting is where they're covering. The rocks can still hit the doors. On other sliders, they tend to keep the rocks at a distance, keeping the doors safe. Just a thought. So, for trails, meh. For streets, I like em.

then he has installed them wrong. a member in my club just went to the hammers 1 week ago and they took a beating. we were curious to see if indeed the body was dented up so we uninstalled them. 4 days of wrecking ball and the body was still straight.

These sliders stick out just as far as our Stage 2 and Stage 3 boxed style sliders:

The only difference is the tubing is higher up on the body.

I'd would LOVE to see proof of this. We have received 0 feedback from our handful of customers running these new design. However, we are very confident in our design and when installed correctly they are more rigid than boxed tube sliders.
