Default One Way Light LED

For those that haven’t heard of, or used the LED lights, the dome light is sort of like a piece of the sun, captured and installed.

Also, the XJ kits are all labeled and well organized.

But even better, the customer service is outstanding.

About six months after install, one out of a set of the interior lights was flickering.

The company owner’s response was “no questions asked” and swift.

Super product, outstanding customer service!

Nope, I don’t work for, nor was I paid or prompted by the company to post this message.

Thanks for letting me know. I still lurk here, still have my XJ, and still maintain the lights hobby. If I don’t expand to other vehicles this will be the last year. As the XJ population gets smaller, it gets tougher to justify the stock of custom lights.

Still, it irritates me that there are sometimes still problems! Mostly it is one-off, but every once in a while a whole batch will end up reporting failures after a few months or a year. Sucks for everyone involved, but it’s cool to interact with so many XJ owners in the recall/replacement process.

I should probably post about a part-out 01 I have. Runs, barely with 160k miles. I thought about trying to figure out the engine trouble, but free time is always lacking. Oil looks good, so the head is probably good.

Thanks for the kind words!

I feel the same way about those guys. Can't say enough nice things about them.
But I can beat that. LOL.
Sometime after I bought their kit from them they contacted me.
It appears some of the bulbs that they sold me might not be up to their quality standards.
So they sent me new ones for free.
Funny thing is I was not having any problems with the original ones and think they are still in my Jeep.
And to be clear.
They contacted me. MLOL.

I just wanted to add that I bought the interior light kit from One Way Light because of this thread. I'm very happy with the kit. I had an issue with the dome light on my 96, and had to bend the tabs on the LED to get it to fit. Then it didn't work. It was probably my fault. I e-mailed them just to verify the correct LED to order, and Jason at One Way Light just said it's in the mail.

Great customer service. If you were on the fence, just do it!

I guess the company I work for thinks LED lights are the devil because the One Way Light website is blocked on the company server... Cant get to the website. That's just funny....

I bought the same kit and it works great. Nicely labeled for install and are very bright. A great and easy mod for the XJ.

Default Possibly??

Is it possible to get onewaylight XJ kits anymore? Purchased in the past but have since sold that xj. Just got another one recently and I can’t seem to find a good interior LED kit anymore.

I closed shop. I never made it beyond the XJ world and moved on to other things.

I don’t have any specific plans to get back into lighting. It’s possible, but I don’t care much for running a business. I’d rather focus on technical and process problems and void marketing and business mgmt.

Hate to hear it man those LEDs were nice and bright. Saved me a lot of time with finding good ones that fit right.

It was a shame.
I am still rocking the interior lights in my '00 that I bought back in 2016.
Had to check files to find out the year.
LOL.

So does anyone know where to get a LED for the dome light that doesn’t point at the rear view mirror?

This looks to have some potential.

I found it on Superbrights website. https://www.superbrightleds.com/vehi...d-festoon-44mm
