OK now i went out the other day and tested out the jeep on the new km2s....I came across some problems.
when flexing the back tire would get caught up in the rear fender.
so what i am trying to do is gain 1.5" of lift on the cherokee My thought was to get the rc shackle relocation kit and a spacer with a t case drop.
Cheap and simple.
What all else would i need to get? such as shocks? and stuff like that
Right now my jeep is sitting on a rc 3 inch lift, and 31/10.50/R15 bfg km2s on 8 inch wide rims.

u could get a 2" BB lift for cheap with coil spacers and shackles, or shackle relocation brackets. you dont need a t case drop or new shocks. very simple installation. with 2" or less every thing can stay stock. once u hit 3" is when u need to worry bout replacing a few things

I am trying to just gain another 1.5" so that i can be sitting at 4.5" lift. I want to use the shackle relocation kit for better flex/ride. And coil spacers because they are cheap.
i am going to call rc and see if i can use there shocks that come with the 3 inch kit for a 4.5 inch kit.

The shocks limit suspension travel downward and if I were to go unsprung its all on the shock. It comes down to your tire size and really, down travel of sus. If you've bump stopped correctly, then 35's on 3" of lift flexing out hard without rubbing is very possible. So unless 4.5 inches of lift is a preference thing, as it will save you some trimming, and bigger is always better, then go for the lift. A 3" sus kit usually has a different spring rate than a taller lift, so be wary of going taller with soft sus. You can get BB kits in anywhere from .5" to 3". yeah you could shim thats the right way that and a pinion angle gauge (to set both angles) but if u put blocks it puts the drive shaft in a terrible angle the tc drop will help plus hes got a 3inch all ready so you kinda almost need it and 4.5 inches

Lift blocks scare me... Drop brackets give better stability against axle wrap and can help achieve better suspension angles to improve travel and ride quality.
