anyone know what 96 4.0l oil pressure is or should be around

Fully warmed up, I believe like 30PSI idle. At least that's what my dash gauge tells me

A good rule of thumb is 10-15psi at idle and 10-12psi per 1000 RPM's over that.

the oly reason i ask is becuase i put a mechanical guage in and its up at likr 55-60 psi cold at idle then bot 60-65 psi off idle then warm it was about 30 psi at idle

mine ranges about 40-65 which is about normal

From the FSM: 13 psi at idle, 37-75 psi at 1600 RPM and higher.

That's with a warmed up engine.

I get around 45-50 idle and around 60-80 going down the road
