Default Oil Analysis Through Napa

Now I know that most people get it done through Blackstone Labs. I am doing the same come April.

Thing is I found this:

I picked up one at the warehouse for a customer. Immediately recognized the container cause I already have the Blackstone Lab one.

I could not figure out if this included the price for the analysis. There was a label on the side with a GA address and an 800#. So I called and some women said that the oil analysis is included in that price. There was also additional labels for various sites around the country to send it too.

Also it appears that they include the TBN that I believe Blackstone charges extra for.

Now how much of this is true is anybodies guess. How this compares to the Blackstone Lab test is also unknown. Also realize I am unsure of any of this.

Thought I would mention it. Seeing how it is half the price. But also to see if anybody has had one done through Napa.


EDIT: I just realized where I put this. Maybe a Moderator could move it to where it should be? Cherokee Chat maybe?

That's 1/2 the price of Blackstone and, yes, they do charge extra for TBN.

I would like to see some of Napa's test results...

I used NAPA when I had my dually cummins, and it was a good deal for the price.

They even keep track of it, so when you send in the next sample, they send a comparison as well as the results of the current sample.

There is one thing I forgot to mention. You have to pay the shipping there. The Blackstone Lab kit comes with the shipping prepaid.

Ah, OK. Still, I think it's $35 for Blackstone with TBN.

Blackstone also shows prior tests on the form each time.
