off center rear axle

Default off center rear axle

Not my jeep but does anyone know what would cause this. Center pin not centered, the archness of the spring? Thabks

Check the orientation of the springs. I would guess they're installed backwards.

Would need more info, aftermarket axle? Different spring perches?

My RuffStuff perches have 3 different holes the centering pin could go into.

He said all stock just a rc 4.5 x-series lift.

Poorly engineered leafs. Another tick against RC. It is the extreme arch they have without compensating for axle location. It shouldn't cause a problem because the axle moves back on compression. I wouldn't be happy about it though. Probably a good reason a lot of kits use 3" springs and shackles to get to 4.5".

That's what I did to get my lift on my old setup; 3" packs, shackle relocators, and ext shackles.

But if you google this lift kit on other keeps none look that extreme, I think something was installed wrong haha.

Use the front hole of the perch and move the axle back.
