Hey guys I bought an AA sye a couple months ago for around $250 and it irks me that I haven't installed it yet. I am putting it in a 95, which has the older style caged needle bearings that have to be removed and put onto the new shaft. Do I need a bearing press to remove OR install the bearing? Thanks in advance

How long would you say this project takes? And do I need an impact gun?

actual install takes an hour tops. uninstalling the case and reinstalling was a pain. I used an impact for the nut that goes on the yoke. good flat head snap ring pliers will be the most impotant tool.

Could I get the nut off with a breaker bar, or will it just spin?

Just put the TC in 4 low and put a pry bar in the front yoke. It helps if you have some one to help you.
