Default Notch Custom X-Max Slider Questions - or other recommendations

Has anyone actually see or run them? I like that they are stealth, I seriously question the lack of contact with the pinch weld and the limited number of fasteners. I'm curious if they actually work. The price is reasonable.

I'm not doing any tough trailers, just want some rocker protection in case of rocks, trees, etc.

Or should I stick with the typical bolt on style, JCR, Rock Hard, Dirtbound, etc. I would prefer one that doesn't stick out too far (either no tubes or angled tubes), but it seems that almost everyone that offers a bolt in has the tubes on it now.

No weld in/rocker replacements - my Jeep is nearly perfect with only 75K miles and I'm building it for camping/adventuring.

This is the only video I've seen of them being actually used:

I was considering them but I had so many doubts that I ultimately skipped it for some custom sliders that mount more traditionally to the uniframe rails. My biggest concern was the sliders transferring force back into the rockers and bending them. JCR made a set of sliders that were somewhat similar and I once saw a picture of some guy's rockers bent because the sliders pushed up into the rockers.

Having installed JCR which mount to the uniframe and pinch weld, I highly doubt anything less would do...when put to the test

If you want the thing bent and torn like a pretzel and cant open door, go for some **** **** thing

huge force is imparted if the bar makes hard contact
