no spark after engine swap 1990 comanchee
1990 comanchee eliminator
ok so i built a hot 4.6L motor for this truck just got it put in yesterday computer is bone stock and at first it back fired a time or two so i figured i had the distributor at 180 out so i fixed that then it would start and run for a couple of seconds a couple of times after which i had no spark i could unhook the battery cable for an hour or so and it would once again have spark and light off and run a second or two and for 2 or three times and it would cut spark
aslo there was a relay buzzing while the ignition was turning
so heres what ive done so far :
1 i have an 88 jeep cherokee that runs so i took the coil and ICM out of it and hooked it up in the comanchee - nothing no spark
so i did the inverse swapped the coil into the cherokee and it starts and runs fine
2 took the same relay that was buzzing out of the comanchee put it in the cherokee runs fine again
put a multi meter on the CPS sensor and it reads 245 ohms now ive read that the this should read no ohms and that it should read 145-250 ohms which one is correct?
3 i checked to make sure i was getting power to the coil i am with the ignition on not sure if im getting power when the engine is turning over
im very mechanically inclined and i have a haynes manual but its not very helpful so any help on this matter is greatly appreciated

so im in the process of going through the checks on that link but some of them require a warm engine and obviously i cant do it that way is there a way around that or are some of the components un benchtestable ?
here what ive got so far :
coolant temp sensor: 2100 ohms
intake air tem sensor: 1900 ohms
o2 sensor - has to be running to test
ive got 5v to the map sensor with the ignition on and ive got the map adjuster toggled off and in the normal position
the tps sensor is reading 6.75v in and .675 volts out
knock sensor is brand new as i broke the old one trying to get it off
the cps is reading 245 ohms
so far thats all ive got
