No brake lights!

No brake lights!
Trying to trouble shoot my brake lights on my 2dr 90 laredo, fuses checked, bulbs checked. I dony think its the switch because it goes out of park into gear easily. Could it still be the switch? All other lights are fully functional.

The switch to light your brake lights and the switch to allow you to shift from P are both activated by pressing your brake pedal but, they are completely separate switches. You brake light switch could be the problem.
