Default Nitro or EVS Bump Stops Front and Rear

So I am looking into replacing the front and rear bumpstops with either nitro charged bumps or the EVS foam bumps from Daystar.

I am looking for nitro bumps from F.O.A

http://f-o-a.com/shop/index.php?main...products_id=25

or EVS foam Daystar Stingers

http://www.daystarweb.com/productdet...productID=1090

Daystars are looking about $269 including the mounting plates, and F.O.A are $300 including the mounting sleeves. Any thoughts ir personal experience on their quality and performance.

I already plan to make a bracket for the rear frame section that is pretty straight forward and I got the idea from somebody over at Expedition Portal.

My question is who has cut the factory bump tower out of the front? Did it required renforcement? was there an Oh **** moment? Any suggestions? I found an aricle over at JP were they installed the Daystar Stingers.

In case anybody is wondering I am not a full on JeepSpeed type, but I love to Crawl, Mud, and go really fast over rough terrain. I am looking for a progressive dampening to limit my travel.

also for your bump pads a piece of "cutting board" does wonders for a nice sliding surface as the axle articulates

Look UP Pro Fender as well. They make a real nice set of bumps and cans. They were running a special for 2 bumps and 2 cans 329 shipped.

I actually met the owner at a Big Dogs event.. and the equipment he was running worked flawless.
