New zone lift!
Lifted the jeep this previous weekend, so far couldn't be happier.
I went with a full 3" zone life from RockRidge (Derrian is the man) and overall it feels well built!
I went with the nitro shock upgrade as well. Even though I'm going to be doing a decent amount of highway driving I want the gear Incase I wanna offroad randomly.
But I do have one question. As most of you know the rest leaf springs are a bi*ch. after it was all said and done and I gave it a few days to settle I realize 2 things.
1. When I go over speed bumps or railroad tracks or any bumps such as that. The front makes zero noise. The rest makes this creaking sound as the truck goes up and down with the suspension. Is this the shackles? I was thinking it could be them since they are original and old. But before these new leafs it didn't creak.
2. Also, when I make tight turns at low speeds I notice my front tires screech a little. Like I'm skidding to a stop but I'm just turning out of a parking spot lol. Any ideas why this could be? I'm running no front sway btw.
As for how the truck looks, here's a Before and after.

After:
(Still need to cut the rear, I know)

The creaking can be a couple things. No anti friction pads between the leafs. Could be the shocks rotating as many aftermarket shocks do. An did you do an alignment yet

Do you have poly or rubber bushings in the rear? I put poly bushings in the springs when I replaced mine, and they do make some noise. If you spray some white lithium grease on them during assembly it will help keep them quieter, its taken a year of abuse for mine to start making noise.

First off don't ever call it a truck. It's a jeep. And as for creaking in the rear, see if your u bolts are tightened all the way, if there a little loose they will never shut up.
