Ive got a 98 cherokee w/ 230,000 and a 2 in lift its starting to get a bit rough and it saggin in the back. I myself have never replaced the rear shocks before only the front and i bought it w/ 150,000 mi so im just thinkin new shocks all the way around, i was originaly gona go w/ rough country shocks but then i saw a bunch of posts on here on how the bushings go out so i started looking at pro comp shocks, let me know what you guys think im trying to stay under $150

Don't get ProComp shocks. I had them and they had a rough ride and they didn't even last a year. I have the Skyjacker nitro shocks now and they have a really good ride. If you want to stay under $150, I think the Hydro Skyjackers would be pretty good also.

Just to let you know, new shocks won't fix the sagging in the rear problem. But check out bilsteins, rubicon express, rough country performance 2.2, my zone shocks aren't bad, old man Emu.

Don't waste your time with any of the white rockets, they all suck. If you are looking for a pair. Bilstein 5100s should fit close to your 150$ budget. If anything pick up some of the yellow ones. Not as good as the 5100s but cheaper.

You get what you pay for. Dont expect to get 4 brand new shocks that will last long for $150. Save up and get stuff that will last long and ride nice. Like previously (X3) stated, shocks wont help sag. since youre on a 2" boost, get some Old Man Emu leaf springs. They, supposedly, have better ride than stock, but dont got as high as other lift kits. I think they just focus on ride quality while giving a small boost in height, but that wont matter because youre not high anyway. if youre going to lift higher soon then i would just live with the sag (unless its so bad its dangerous) and save for a nice lift kit WITHOUT ADD-A-LEAF. If not, then just get some nice shocks and replace leafs with whatever you had before (or better. always good to get better )

I went with zone nitro shocks for 2" lift an they are great hold up strong. There 46 each. AOR on the forum can get you a deal he has a tread I the vendor section.
Plus take a pic of your springs lets see the sag that you have and well see what you should get brother
