Just goings through the same thing you did. What you really needed was adjustable upper not lowers. You need to rotate your axle upwards. I bought mine from IRO

You need lowers too. Without lowers, the axle pulls into the chassis. At 4.5" you need both uppers and lowers.

So OP, you need uppers to fix that angle ASAP. I still say google CA drop brackets or long arms ok. good luck

Ps- also you can think about an SYE for the rear Ds. Which transfer case you have

If you can stand the vibes then your good. But it will wear the u joint out faster and put more stress on your pinion seals and bearings I think.

It will not hurt a thing. Have fun wheeling! Don't be pissed though when you buy the adjustable uppers and you still have vibes. LOL

Why would he have vibes? Lol
The couple cm he pushed his axle forward sent that already crappy pinion angle over the cliff...

Hard to tell. I have no vibrations and mine is clocked more that his. Very possible to something completely different. I have spent a lot of time and money tracking down vibrations.

Why would I still have vibes with the new upper control arms?

Before I spent a dime I would go back the 2 cm and see if I still had the vibe. If you still have it then it's time to look elsewhere. If it goes away then leave it there or buy adjustable uppers and take a chance.

Also I didn't catch you were at 4.5". This sets your ca's at a pretty steep angle. Someone mentioned drop brackets or long arms. And it's a good suggestion.

I think before I go wheeling tommorow I will put them back to the same length as my old fixed ones and if that Dosent work I'll buy new uppers I guess

You could always pull the front shaft....but I'm gonna have to say it will fix the vibes. That angle looks terrible to me

Low pinion. It's mainly just a toy now. Would like to find a high pinion though.
