New jeep owner here. need some advice.
I will keep this short and to the point, and will introduce myself later.
I recently found a great deal on a 95 xj that i couldnt pass up. I have wanted a jeep for years and now i have one. info on the truck, 95, 4 door. 4.0 auto, 4x4, suspension lift(not sure what it is), 33x12.5x15. safari rack, cut fenders, ac/ heat,ps,pw,pl. 170k on it. now when I got it the owner told me the 4wd didnt work and he said it needed a drive shaft. I drove 2 hours away to pick it up, it was dark when i got there, test drove it and left. It runs great. made it the 2 hour drive home without any issues. I start workin on it today and noticed there isnt a transfer case. Im guessing the tranny blew and the put a 2wd tranny and drive shaft in. the front axel is good, and inside the truck it does have the 4wd on the floor. So I guess I need A 4x4 tranny, transfer case, front and reat drive shaft? anything else? I will be posting pictures shortly. even with these parts missing I feel i got a great deal and am very happy with the jeep. just need to fix little things like door handles and such.

You'll probably need the vacuum lines, but those you can get in generic lengths.
Sorry to hear about the missing tcase.
Do you have a front diff? Its just not attached to anything?
