Long time lurker first time poster, just traded my suzuki for a 99 cherokee sport. The jeep has a lift on it and getting really bad vibs coming from driveshaft. I know i need to drop transfercase down some but do i need to add shims to rearend and if i do what degree do i start with ? I figured if i do both of them it should take care of vibe. Looks like its a 3 maybe 3.5 lift, blocks and spacers, with rancho 5000

Here is a good write-up about pinion angle adjustment and measurement.
This is how to measure lift height...

Most driveshafts have a sweet spot. They normally dont like to run 180 degrees off. Not sure if the Cherokee can go on more than one way. Try unbolting the driveshaft and rotate is 180 then bolt it back up to see if it gets rid of the vibes. Make sure the shaft balance weights werent knocked off.
