Default new e-fan setup questions

i just got a good single efan out of a junk car at work, and was wondering if it was a good idea to splice into the factory efan setup or have it hooked up separately? loooked it up and cant seem to find much info

Using both fans off the same wiring? That may be too much load.

Use a 3.8L Taurus, Sable, Continental fan. It flows 9000cfm on high, and 5000 and low. Its a big upgrade.
Using a volvo 2 speed relay, controlled by VW thermoswitch, installed in a Saab 900 cooling t-pipe. Wire is flat out simple. Relay is straight gound/postive, the the 2 signal wire the thermoswitch. Thermoswitch goes to ground. Fan goes to relay.

Volvo PN is pictured, relay is from any volvo 93-01 850, S70, V70, C70.
VW thermoswitch and pigtail is from 2.0L 99-04 Golf, Bettle, Jetta.
