I am real damn close to buying these. If I do it with Paypal you can at least file a claim if they are Chinese... or just do a chargeback if you use a CC.

Is it worth getting one for a D30 low-pinion? I guess I can do a gear swap when I do these?

That's what I would like to know. How do you tell the difference between the real ARB and the knock off?

I am not in the market for a locker at the moment but if that is the real deal I would drop the coin for one now at that price.

Watch the video and you can see from the machining of some of the internal parts.. even the case looks a little different, but it would take a close look, if not opening things up to tell.

I think the prices are jacked up and Melvin doesn't what know what the hell an air locker is. LOL

If anything, the video shows the Chinese air locker is still good up to 6000 ft lbs.

Just find a high pinion axle and build that. Just be careful which front locker it says matches your Jeep. I input 1999 Cherokee in the vehicle selection and it still recommended a standard rotation d-30.

Unboxing a Chinese Air Locker clone. I think the Chinese clone is shipped with a compressor for around $500. The Chinese do not sell labeled as ARB and the brand on JC Whitney says ARB. ARB's should come in an ARB box.

Help me out here.. I have the RD93 and RD100 in my cart...

With the RD93 I can go 3.73 on up in my front D30, right?

And the RD100 will work on my C 8.25 with any gear..

I am beginning to wonder if it is possibly ARB that has a problem. Here is a fitting on AutoParts Warehouse.

Dang, even cheaper there. Same SKU and I coulda saved 11 bucks.

If I'm not mistaken you have it backwards. RD100 is the 3.73 and up Dana 30 locker.

You need to order the RD101 and just run thick cut gears.

You have that backwards. The RD93 will fit any gearing on the C8.25. The RD100 3.73 on up for the D30.
