After I changed out all my control arm bushings and installed an adjustable track bar I got a death wobble so bad it almost put me in the ditch. I changed caster, checked tow in, rotated tires, etc, and still had it.

Noticed the stabilizer was leaking oil so I put on the heavy duty one from Autozone and DW is gone. Real life story, no guessing here.

Well I guess we all have different experiences. A wise man would take each into consideration.

Mounted it in my ota track bar mount

So no more death wobble...but a considerable shake in the tires at 50mph...worried I'm just covering something up...it's at least drivable now though

Well I guess a little improvement is better than none.

Looks like you have it hooked up to tie rod, on mine it is hooked up to drag link. One of us has it hooked up wrong, maybe someone else knows the correct mounting? Glad you can drive it again.

Couldn't fit it up on the drag link.
And because I'm trying to fight latteral motion between the two front tires I wanted it on the tie rod anyways
But Yeah it feels good to drive er again

With my currie steering I couldn't hook it up to the tie rod, went on the web and found that on the XJ it was hooked up to drag link. One other thing that helped me was running at 30 psi tire pressure. Less flex in sidewall of tire.

My steering is all custom so It didn't even allow for a steering stabilizer, that's why there is a bracket holding it on the tie rod that is ugly as hell lol.
And on my 35s I've tried 24, 26,30, 32, 34
It's about the same amount of death wobble the whole way through. But one time discount tire aired em up to 40 psi and death wobble was basically gone with no stabilizer lol

I think my stabilizer is covering something up, every time I drive it the wobble at 50 is getting more noticeable...still driveable but I can see my tire moving back and fourth when it happens.
Gonna mount a go pro on a rod in front of my bumper to see if I can get an idea of what's going on

Alignment was off, got it right and had to take the steering stabilizer off because it was contacting my track bar but it doesn't death wobble even without it!
It was about 6 degrees toed in lol.
Got it basically neutral and the wobble is gone!
Hopefully for good this time lol

Y'all, I really hate to be posting on this thread again, cause Y'all know what that means...yep, it's back. And worse than ever. Also, sorry to the OP, I have taken over this thread completely lol.
I'm not even driving my xj right now it's so bad. Uncontrollable death wobble like you have never seen before. came back after my last wheeling trip. Before any of yall ask, I have changed the toe in toe out 3 times experimenting with .25" toe in to .5" toe out. Tire pressure from 20psi to 35 psi.
Tightened every single bolts and jam nut.
Here's the bad part, it's starting to crack my frame

Little now but it will get bigger. I can see the frame flex when I have someone turn the wheel when I'm under it. Gonna put a inner brace on and a brace from the shaft to the passenger frame rail.
Frame flexing couldn't cause dw right?
The only other thing I can think of is one of my inserts for the one ton tre is a TINY bit wobbly(the one at the pitman arm) I'm gonna have it welded in but I really don't think that's the problem. Everything else unbelievabley is still super tight even through the hell my dw puts them through.
Here's a pic of the finished ota track bar and steering by the way

The jeep is unsafe to drive right now and it's my only transportation other than a motorcycle right now(which sucks cause it's cold as *****)
I need some help here yall, completely lost in what to do...ANY advice is much appreciated!
