Needing serious help
Hey y'all, I drive an 01 sport that has recently developed some serious issues.. First it's running rough at idle, sputters when reved up, and while driving somewhere around 3rd gear near 2800 rpm it will begin to jump from 3000-1000 rpm, like it is cutting in and out.. It will go away as soon as I let off the gas, and is worse going up hill.. I'm really having to baby her just to get down to town(3 miles).. Just swapped in some new(to me) injectors, problem seems to not be any better.. Censors, plugs, computer?? I need help..

check spark plugs/wires/cap/rotor. unplug one spark boot at a time see if it runs any different. also start unplugging the harness on the injectors, possible one isnt supplying fuel. if you find a spark plug you pull doesnt make a difference start troubleshooting more into that.
could be lots of things, even the computer. hard to say, start with the easiest stuff and move on.

Definitely check spark plugs and wires. If a woirse maybe melted or what have you it would definitelydo that. check cap and rotor too, especially if a wire is bad. Also are your injectors upgraded or stock style? Maybe run some seafoam through your system too. Clean out any buildup. Jeeps a mainteance queens, so keep that in mind if you havent done a tuneup and its due. Maybe bad gas too? IDK just a thought.

Has the check engine light came on?
if so check for codes.
Sounds like you may have bad gas or a screwed up mass airflow sensor but you really need to get it checked for codes and actual values.
Did it start running bad before or after you put the injectors in?

I replaced the injectors, tps, map sensor, plugs, and today the computer.. Now it seems to run fine for a bit, then gets right back to acting up.. The check engine light is flashing no codes though.. It seems to be worse shocking from 3rd to 4th.. Gets to 3000 then jumps down to 2500 or so and just keeps acting like it is hitting the rev limiter or something.. Gonna go swap what ya just mentioned, I'll let ya know.. Got a parts rig to yank from!!
