need some help
so i got a 231 tc given to me today,,i was told it was out of a liberty idk...i have a 90 xj aw4 242 i think the out put shaft is a 21 or 23 spline on the aw4 not sure ???i took some pics of the tags can anty one tell me what i have here i know its a newer tc..if it will work or do i need to change the input shaft and what sye kit i need ....going to try to use a front dd

I think the spline count will be different. Looks like the case is out of an 2006, the build date is 7-07-05.

You have a 21 spline in your 90 and it's most likely a 23 spline. There are different lengths as well but you can swap out the input.
