Need some better headlights
While you may have not had any problem with them. Those projector headlights and HID setup to not have the proper light cutoff. I guarentee it's difused enough that it's slightly hazed to oncoming traffic. While you might not notice it, but I'd bet that this setup is a least as bright if not brighter than what you have, and the cost is less. Also, if you have to replace a bulb or ballast, your replacement cost will be dramatically more (both common with aftermarket HID setups).

I've had to buy bulbs for my DD Honda. About $19. Not expensive at all. And all I know is they're ridiculously brighter than the crappy stock lights. Don't know how much a ballast is, but it can't be to bad either.....

What's that smell? Oh, it's that rotting dead horse. You can't go wrong with the setup that jtodaro posted. I did the same thing with the hella xenon blue bulbs. It's a clean white light, not that obnoxious blue that you really can't see with and it's like night and day, hehe, over factory lights.

Thanks everyone so Ima go with the setup that jtodaro posted for sure. Seems like a lot of people do it that way so it must be good and wont hurt my pocket to much.
I installed the Putco harness yesterday and it only worked for about 45 minutes before the relays crapped out and my lights went out. I can't recommend it unless you're willing to cut up the harness and install better relays. The ones that come with it are non-standard so a normal relay won't plug in to the harness. I'm sorry to say it was a waste of $30 for me and I'm only glad that my lights didn't shut off out on the road somewhere. They waited until right after I got home to crap out. Today I went back to the stock wiring so I can drive the Jeep to work this week.

I'm running an upgrade harness and the autopal e-codes with silverstars I had from another car. Really nice. Plenty bright with good beam pattern.
Turn on the stock fogs (actually really great), my bumper ff500 fogs, and my a-pillar ff500 driving and you can see a squirrel poop at a 1000yds. Changes your life man.
I Suggest going with the guys at DDM Tuning, they are out of san diego and they have a sealed beam replacement that you could put in a regular halogen bulb or do like i did and step up to an awesome 35watt hid kit (also bought through ddm) ive been running their set up for over a year now with not one problem. and a great price too! their site is ddmtuning.com.

I've been running the Silverstars for over a year and I have 0 complaints with them, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a simple swap out headlight upgrade.
