for the rectangle hole...
i used a decal squeegie cut to size (flexible yet tough plastic)
then i used heavy duty silicone to seal the edges. also theres two drain hole inside the bottom of the box. some leave them open to let water drain but i have a rediculously sealed snorkle system.

I beg to differ. Google flex seal.. the guy sprayed it on a screen door and used it for the bottom of his boat. Truck bed liner not waterproof?? What planet are you on? Duct tape is probably not waterproof for long, especially if submerged.. but it will seal up his airbox, and with the rubber stuff sprayed on top of it, it will be waterproof.

How about we suggest using a product meant to do the job...esp when its inexpensive?
Silicon works really well, and is meant to seal. Duct tape and bedliner....not so much...
