Question Need help about the control arm drop kit

My axle is being pulled backwards by my control arms because they are too steep on my lift. Do I have to get the drop brackets or can I buy some adjustables. I can some off Craigslist for $100.

It'll ride better with either... drop brackets tend to hang up rock crawling but may not effect you... also if its just a street rig then you just need the proper length for the amount of spring height you have now... doesn't have to be adjustable... but recommended...

the drop brkts will actually make it ride better than just adj LCAs. they make the control arms more parrallel to the ground, resulting in a more stock position.(essentially the same way long arms have a better ride)

i had them for 3 years and hung up on them once the entire time. i drug my long arms all over the place, and im wheeling the same trails.

i prefer the long arms, but the drop brkts did me just fine.

one more thing......RE is closed at the moment, so if you need bushings or joints, ur kinda hosed. you may be able to find them.

Motion off road has a lot of RE products in stock. There is a little mark-up on prices obviously but its better than nothing.

Yeah, the adj will help with alignment and moving your axle forward but the drop brackets with help with that and also give you a better ride by lowering the arms. This give you a less steep angle to the control arm so bumps are not as rough. Yes they may have the ability to be stick on rocks more but if you are just mudding or driving most or all the time it will not matter. I have both on my jeep.
