I will be using the shackle relocation brackets for sure and as for a shackle I am not sure this is the 1st kit I pieced together, before I just bought a kit from roughcountry and put it on.

 

Have you looked into our Shackle relocation kits? You can get shackles from pretty much anywhere.

Yea I have looked into them are they different than the other shackle relocation brackets? and what is the dif between your low pro and the other ones?


I wont be using this thing as a daily driver but I will be driving it on the road once in awhile.


My plan is 5.5" lift with 33/12.50/R15 mud terrains

 

Ours are laser cut while most others are torched or plasma cut. Rough Country's option is not compareable to others on the market. There is a lack of support for the shackle and they tend to shimmy around. Ours bolt into the stock shackle box as well as the stock hitch location.

Our Low Pro Shackle Relocation Kit is the only kit available that doesnt add any lift when installed. Our Standard Shackle Relocation kits adds 3/4" to 1-1/2" of lift just like all other kits on the market.

I am still trying to make sure I am doing this lift the right way the 1st time. I plan on doing long arms and sye later

 

do I even really need quick disconnect or should I just remove my front and rear sway bars? I am not going to drive this thing on the higway very much, I got a 2013 chevy I will be using as a dd.

 

I personally never ran a front or rear sway bar. Even on a daily driver.

 

Yea i am just going to save my money and just remove the sway bars. its not like i plan on Tokyo drifting this thing lol

 

Rear sway does not matter really. I would keep the front, unless you have really good shocks.
seriousoffroad has the RE4.5" coils for about 75$+ship. I definitely recommend Longarms or CAD brackets for that height of lift.
I have some RE CAD brackets with braces that I might sell.

you can go to a local parts store and get dodge dakota brake lines they are longer. google search junk yard brake lines jeep cherokee or something. then get some rubicon shocks. you should be decently happy with them. thick, safe, guaranteed, tcase skid. much smarter option than iron rock for the couple extra bucks. dont do short arms. I got short arms and though I was happy with them. then I wheeled a jeep with long arms. night and day difference not only with flex, but controlled articulation. wouldn't waste my time with drop brackets either

another thing is I wouldn't trust my track bar needs with rough country. I'd go rubicon, rock krawler, or any other reputable company
