My Lift
Hello all. I've been reading here for awhile and have decided to join the community. I just picked up my first Jeep, and obviously first Cherokee. I got my hands on a '98 Sport with 163,000 miles. Cherokees are a little weird to me, being a unibody. The Cherokee I picked up is "supposed" to have a 3 inch lift on it already. I can't really tell though to be truthful. There's definitely some lift, as I have 31 inch tires. Anyway I need help deciding where to go from here. I'm not a big fan of rock crawling, majority of the time I'll be mudding. I'd like to get 35"s on my rig but I'm not sure it will look right. So I'm thinking 33"s will have to do. Now with 33"s, what size lift should I be looking at getting? Also with that, I assume I'm going to have to get new gears with a higher ratio. I've not been able to find much info about gearing a Cherokee and axles. What do you guys recommend for a lift, size, specific product? And if anyone has any info about what gear ratio and axles I should have, lemme know!
P.S. 4.0L i6. Auto transmission. I'm not sure if my axles are stock.
