You need to get it on a lift and check it.

The tcase is good, checked it on a lift and it does spin the front driveshaft when in 4wd. So could it be something small and easy to fix? Power just isn't making it from the front driveshaft to the front wheels... Could anyone give me any type of list starting from the simplest thing it could be down to the more difficult things it could be? Thank you

if it spins the front shaft start there and head towards the wheels. Pop the cover off the front differential and see if anything in there is spinning then head out towards the wheels.

Thanks for the replies. I haven't gotten around to opening up the diff yet mainly because it's my only vehicle to get to work with.
I was wondering if there's anything even more simple such as locking hubs or something? Anything simple to check?
Here's a little more info, while driving at any speed other than very slow, it grinds when I try to engage 4wd. I can put it in 4wd otherwise, and it indeed does put power down to the front driveshaft.
I'm hoping to figure it out within the week so I'm just trying to collect some good ideas from folks who are much more mechanically able than I am because I do not know much of anything about working on vehicles. I just don't have money to go get raped by a shop at the moment... And I gotta get this thing in the woods!!! Any addition ideas are welcome thanks everybody!

I highly doubt it has locking hubs. The grinding is probably since the front driveshaft isn't being spun by the front axle like it should be since something seems to be disconnected, then you're trying to force it to start turning the same Speed as the rear one.

Have you tried pitting the front wheels off the ground and spinning them to see if there is any noise? If you spin one wheel and the other spins the opposite way you will at least know the diff is open and partially working. If the tcase is putting power to the front shaft it has to be your differential. The only thing is Id expect some bad noise if something was broken inside but until you open it up you wont know for sure. Just FWIW popping the diff cover isnt a big deal beyond a lil mess and scraping the old gasket/rtv off to close it up.

You would know if you had locking hubs. Youd see them at your wheels.

Op, you NEED to noggin poke. we cant keep giving you suggestions if you dont do them. get a small jack and jack the front. spin on tire and the DS should spin. lift the whole front and spin the driveshaft by hand and see what happens. do stuff. stop asking. we understand its you only vehicle but we dont have an answer for YOUR Jeep that YOURE having issues with. Were here to help but if you dont do your part. why should we.

another reason I rant is because everyone gives you the worst case scenario. another user had headlight issue with LED conversions. everyone told him crazy **** like a burned out switch. guess what it was, the fog light relay. You need to start getting dirty and stop trolling

Asking questions is a great thing but if someone doesn't apply and say, "nope not that." how does he move on to the next suggestion. Process of elimination is a great thing to use.
