Finally a fix!

okay, jeepers, I finally believe they found and fixed the problem to the rear hatch handle. I am a mail carrier and I have to open the hatch at least 30 times a day and the latch handle keeps breaking. I have replaced at least 15 of these over the years and got tired of it. Well today my latch handle broke again. And I had to order a new one and this came from O’Reillys and it was Dorman 83210. I have bought several of these from O’Reillys and they always broke well now Dorman has a fix. They made the piece thicker that pushes down on the latch lever and I’m praying that now it won’t break anymore. YAY!

Dude i dunno what lift shocks i got but you better stand back when you hit the button cause that thing flies open on its own. Itl darn near knock you over and black your eye.

Mine are slightly less energetic. I like it though, no more broom stick to prop it open.

I’ve got the parts for it, but haven’t installed it yet
