If so, your exhaust isn't clogged.
Correct. I even removed the exhaust to test that theory and found it made no difference. I replaced the exhaust for the neighbors sake though haha

I can certainly check. I'll be heading back over there in an hour or so. I think I may change the crank sensor again aswell. The sparatic loss of spark on all cylinders has me leaning towards that.

I just recently replaced my msd coil with an OEM unit because the msd coil was acting up.

Is the ignition control module still good?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought high output setups didn't use an ignition control module?

What do you guys think about a sticking asd relay? I can check if the one in my '98 is the same and swap them out if they are. I've seen relays sparatically stick in the past... maybe the asd relay is sticking, causing the ignition coil to intermittently lose signal?

Did you check the cap and rotor? A bad rotor will give you the same issues. Also check the distributor shaft bushing while youre in there.

I had the same problem. I rebuilt my motor comp custom cam .30 over and everything new. I had to cut off the tap on the Distributor and fine tune timing the motor in. Dose it when you get on the gas sound like u are hitting the rev limiter and missing real bad and shaking. It took me 2 day and 3 Mechanic ( that wall work at the local jeep dealership) to figure it out. My jeep is a 92

I still say your cpu took a ****. especially since you say its missing across all 6 cly intermittently.
Regardless if its been running fine for 1400 miles, The cpu can still go. I would make sure all your ground straps are good. Also make sure the CPU pins are clean and packed with dieletric grease. I have a ground issue with my 99. I cleaned and gooped said pins, and she's been good for over a year.

I also wonder if your cam jumped time. Which could happen if a mistake was made when indexing the cam.

I'm running out of **** it could be...lmao.

I had one hell of a time getting it to run when I first did the build. Then all the sudden it idled on its own and ran great for 1400 awesome miles. Now it starts right up but misfires like a son of a ***** lol

How can the cam jump timing with a chain? Not trying to be a jerk... I just don't think it's possible without the crank or cam gears coming off (Which wouldn't allow it to run at all)
