Sorry if this is a basic question but I was wondering where the best place to put my angle finder on my Dana 35. I just put a 4.5" Rubicon Express lift on my Cherokee and would like to check my angles. Thanks for the help in advance.

 

On the yoke.

 

it looks like my axle is measuring 11 degrees and my drive shaft is measuring 13 degrees. I have a 4.5" lift and a tom woods sye and drive shaft. could it be possible the angles are perfect with no shimming? I bought 4 and 6 degree shims figuring i would need one of them and i would send back the other. its looking like I won't need either. im just really surprised everything i have read was i would need to shim going more that a 3.5" lift. did i just get lucky or is this normal?

 

Shackles play a big part. If you run longer shackles you often don't need wedges.
