Measurement for TW driveshaft
99 Cherokee
4wd
144k, auto
242 t-case
3 inch Rc lift
Okay time to finally get rid of my t-case drop and move up to a sye. I am not going to do the hack n tap myself, I am going to order the kit from Tom Woods. I just have a few questions on measuring the driveshaft and sending the measurements. I understand I need to measure from the t-case cone to the center of the yolk.
So the question is do I have to remove the t-case drop and then measure with it in stock position? I assume I do I'm just trying to avoid double work as I will have to put the t-case drop back in as I am doing the work an hour away. Thanks

You need to remove the t case drop install the sye have the jeep on all 4 wheels and at full weight. Then you measure it and make sure you do it as they want it,Or else most companies once you order it yours so if its wrong you end up buying another one.
