I'm putting a new motor in the heep soon and I was wondering if anyone has the more bombproof rubber motor mounts I've been going through factory ones like crazy and was wondering if anyone knows how good they are. I ordered a set of the bombproof poly motor mounts but then found the rubber ones so I'm deciding whether or not to get rubber ones or just keep poly ones. Any input is appreciated

 

Ive havent had poly ones on my xj but my fast cars i liked poly but you get vibes into cabin not bad but usually you will notice them, but id take that over redoing them all the time

 

Well that's what I was going for but these rubber ones are supposed to be loads better than factory. But I don't know. And someone told me that with unibody the poly ones are super bad with vibes

 

the poly ones barely make a difference in vibes.

 

i have brown dog rubbers. the vibrations were there for a week or so then went away once they "broke in"
