Default lower control arm (shock type)?

My lower control arm is worn, and I need to replace the whole arm because just replacing the bushings won't fix where it is worn out in the middle of the arm. it seems to be like some kind of shock lower control arm.

:brick wall:

Any help would be good. (93 Cherokee 6.5in lift)

if I recall that's an older teraflex arm design. it actually twists in the middle. not a shock.

Most are going to bash and say buy long arms at 6.5" lift. Just grab a set of adjustable lower arms from a company of your choice, set them up to the recommended center to center distance, install, wheel, be happy

Yea that's what one of my jeep buddies thought it was too. He said it might have internal threads that u just can't see....that's why it looks like a shock. But if I go long arm won't the upper arms have to be long also...?

Depends on the brand of long arms. Some differ from others but generally speaking yes they need to be longer

If you don't chose long arms then it looks like you could benefit from lca drop brackets to.
