i have a 2000 jeep cherokee with out abs. i picked up a 92 hp dana30 with abs . im gonna put an arb in the hp.
my question is what spline count are the axles? which is better?
is it possible to use the axles out of my 2000 lp 30?
i know im gonna need to put chromolys in it eventually but thats another 600 so itll wait.
what spline locker should i go with and what shafts do i need for the strongest setup with stock axles

the splines are the same but the u-joints are bigger in the later axles. so pull the shafts out along with the hubs and everything else knuckles ect. after that put new u-joints in the LP shafts and put them in the HP 30. keep the HP 30 shafts and the rest of the LP 30 parts for spares

ok so all xjs only had 27 spline counts. so if i went with the 30 i would have to buy chromoly shafts?

getting 30 spline shafts is stupid for a dana 30 its still a dana 30 why wast the money on a super 30 kit. IMO its not worth it just keep it 27
