When I lock my jeep in four wheel and get it in a strain front end pops.The sound is coming from front left you can see the tire shake when this happens.I do have a Aussie locker.I just done the trans case so I know it is not the chain.Thanks in advance

 

Peep the u joint.

 

Yea mine doing the same thing, was the front right u joint.. got it all apart changing oil and seals at same time as I'm doing both axleshaft u joints...

 

Ok thank you I will check but it has a new u-joint.The guy I got the jeep from said he just rebuilt the front end.I can have it in 4low hold the brake and it will POP bang or slip so bad it shakes the jeep.Will check the joints thanks.

 

Thought I would up date took diff cover off today everything looked fine then I noticed that the ring gear moved side to side the guy that had it before me didn't put any shims in it so gears were slipping.
