Default Loss of power, sputtering and popping

So i have a 88 cherokee renix 4.0 and i just did Cap&rotor, plugs, and wires a few weeks ago. But was driving it today and it ran perfectly fine i parked turned it off then when i went to leave i had to get on it a little and when i did it felt like it fell on its face complete loss of power sputtering and popping but if i ease into the throttle it drives fine so i put it in park revved it and it cut out at 3000rpm i shut it off then started up again and it revved like normal then i took off and it repeated everything again. Just wanted to see i can get someones feedback on this maybe the CPS is done for, or the TPS?

This isn't a question for modified tech, but since you just did cap wire etc... Double check everything you just did. Make for sure all your wires are on tight, and in the proper order etc. The motor torquing to the side quickly is possibly causing a connection that isn't connected very well to disconnect. Also check other wiring around the area you worked in to make sure nothing got bumped loose.
