Yes. Flex and ride quality will both definitely be better.

Try long arms and you'll like it more.

The arms can act as a slider and I've never been hung up on them ever.

It really depends on how much lift your going with, as to weather its worth it or not. I have 6.5" on short arms, and don't see how long arms good do much better. With out my limiting straps I can flex enough to unseat the spring.

i know people with 3.5in of lift and long arms... size doesnt matter... its a different kind of approach with long arms...

x2 on all accounts. When I can find a XJ for the fiance she will have a 3-4.5" lift with long arms.

IMO size of lift does matter. With only 3" of lift it is hardly worth the price difference to with long arms. You won't notice that much difference. However if you going with 7"+ of lift, the only logical choice would be long arms. So will long arms work on a low lift, sure, but unless your a hardcore wheeler, short arms would be just fine.

short arms would be just fine with 3in... long arms would be better... and you will notice a huge difference on and off road... and its well worth the extra money... they wouldnt exist if they didnt... and nobody would be UPGRADING to them if they werent better and worth it...

think about approaching to a ledge... at a side angle... short arms reguardless of lift size are gonna be at a angle... like this... / ... with long arms the control arms are at less of an angle kind of like this... -... which do you think would be easier for the motor to torque the tires up the ledge when you approach it at this angle?? pretty obvious dont ya think?
